The newly redesigned RATS (Rapid Access Trauma System) bag is a medical intervention bag where every detail has been carefully considered for quick and easy one-handed access to organized medical equipment. It features multiple scissor and tourniquet holders, as well as large, reinforced handles for attaching it to branches or inside a helicopter. Its dimensions, when mounted on the NICE frame, allow space beneath the bag for carrying stretchers or combination hydraulic tools. The RATS interior includes four removable pockets with clear vinyl windows and two IV pockets. The RATS also features a removable BVS system that optimizes the bag's use with or without body armor.

Features:

This internal structure consists of a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plate that combines rigidity and flexibility. The Futura yoke system adjusts easily and precisely to the torso length, allowing for optimal spacing between the back and the structure.
The Boosted Ventilation and Stability (BVS) system ensures a stable and secure fit on the body armor and can be easily removed. A hook-and-loop patch on the lid provides identification, and there are zippered pockets on the lid.
The top lid opens like a clamshell and features internal loops for bandages and compresses. An external scissor pocket with elastic loops on each side allows for quick access to items such as tourniquets.
Two 150 cubic inch (2.4 L) IFAK-sized front pockets accommodate first aid kits.
The back panel contains a closed-cell foam pad designed to insulate patients from the ground.
The PALS system allows for the use of MOLLE accessories.
