The Dönges Basic series is intentionally designed in a standard pocket knife format, suitable for everyday use. This makes the knife easy to carry and suitable for common cutting tasks. In an emergency, it proves to be a professional rescue tool always at hand. The three models share important common features: an anodized 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum handle with a non-slip Dönges honeycomb texture, a robust 440A stainless steel blade with a sharp half-tang and ball-bearing pivots, a glass breaker, a seatbelt cutter, and a reliable steel clip for point-down/right-handed carry. The Dönges Basic Rescue's sheep's foot blade is optimized for emergency response. It allows for cutting through the clothing of injured individuals with minimal risk of injury. Its wide, independent sides facilitate two-handed opening. The 6061 aluminum handle is anodized in SAR orange.
