This is the assault backpack currently issued to the U.S. Marines. It features a large main compartment and a smaller front compartment, both secured with heavy-duty zippers. MOLLE webbing is located around the perimeter for attaching pouches and other accessories. Side compression straps help secure bulky loads and prevent gear from spilling out. A carrying handle is located on the top, along with openings for hydration tubes and radio cables. The main compartment includes a hydration bladder sleeve (up to 3 liters, not included). The front compartment has a small internal zippered pocket for smaller items. The shoulder straps are padded and adjustable, and the back panel is also padded. This backpack is ready for use for 24, 36, or 48-hour trips and is ideal for day hikes and camping.
