These ECWS (Extreme Cold Weather System) pants are a cutting-edge outer layer, designed with state-of-the-art materials to keep you comfortable even in the most extreme cold. Virtually waterproof, windproof, breathable, and durable, they are designed to be the outer layer of your cold-weather gear. Their lightweight yet extremely warm PrimaLoft® Sport Thermal insulation is bonded and glued. Designed to be worn over your other clothing, they feature full-length side zippers, reinforced knees, a zippered fly, and an elastic waistband. Color: Urban Gray. Made in the USA.
The U.S. Army consulted with industry and soldiers to develop this fully integrated system. Inspired by the layering systems used by professional mountaineers, the Gen III ECWCS system comprises seven layers of clothing that adjust and work individually or together, providing maximum options for the soldier.
