Offering the comfort required for WI5 climbing, enough warmth for belaying, and the dexterity to tie knots in cold weather, the Black Diamond Punisher is our go-to glove for long days, demanding climbs, and changing conditions. Featuring 100g PrimaLoft Gold insulation on the back of the hand and a fixed 190g fleece lining, the Punisher stands as our mid-weight winter climbing glove. TPU knuckle reinforcement protects against wear, while the pre-curved, ice-tool-specific fit ensures a secure grip. Our innovative "seamless pinky" construction—eliminating the seam along the pommel side—enhances comfort when gripping the ice tool. A waterproof BD.dry™ insert protects against wet ice, while the leather palm reinforcement and suede nose wipe provide grip and comfort. The Punisher features a durable Pertex Shield ripstop shell, and four-way stretch fingers ensure excellent dexterity and optimal flexibility while climbing.
