Vapor Mesh™ technology makes Primus Winter Gas the fastest-boiling canister fuel in sub-zero temperatures. It accelerates the vaporization of liquid into gas using an absorbent paper insert that increases the evaporation surface area of the liquid fuel. This results in higher pressure, allowing the burner to receive a steady supply of more fuel and produce a more powerful flame. Boiling times are reduced in low temperatures, ensuring optimal overall performance in cold weather. Even better, Vapor Mesh™ efficiency actually increases as the fuel level drops.
After 60 minutes of cooking, a Winter Gas canister delivers approximately 9% more power than a canister without the vapor mesh. After 120 minutes of use, it delivers about 15% more power.
